Overview
Brandon Burger, J.D., LL.M., is an Associate Attorney at Dallo Law Group. After two years of traveling throughout Europe and South America, Brandon moved to San Diego to attend the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, he developed a strong passion for tax law, volunteering as a Student Attorney at USD’s Federal Tax Clinic, where he represented low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He was an active member of the Tax Law Society, Business Law Society, and Federalist Society, further honing his skills and connections in the legal community. At Dallo Law Group, Brandon focuses on resolving complex tax controversies, including IRS and Franchise Tax Board collections, state agency audits, Small Business Administration appeals, and Employee Retention Tax Credit matters. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys San Diego’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle, spending his free time golfing, surfing, and hiking with his dog, Arthur.
Education
Brandon earned his law degree (J.D.) from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating Order of the Coif (Top 10%). He continued his legal education at USD, obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.). He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. His honors thesis, Singing the Blues: Led Zeppelin and the Inconsistency of U.S. Copyright Law, combined his love of classic rock with his interest in legal scholarship.
